What is the most valuable resource?

I would say time.

But that's kind of cheating since time is not a tangible material resource in the physical world that we can easily control. And some people even like to say that time is an illusion and like... completely depends of your perspective man.

Ok, I'll give you that one. So what then could possibly represent the most valuable resource in the here and now (and possibly throughout history) that has allowed thinking human beings to survive, thrive and overcome all obstacles to reach ever greater heights across all civilizations, both rich and poor, in every nation that has ever come into being?

Intelligence?

Nah.

It's Hope.

Yep. I cheated again. But here me out. Hope with a capital H (important because it's a brand kind of thing which I'll explain in a minute) as wielded by the masters of marketing (aka the buggers that coerce you into buying things you don't need) can act as a tangible aspect of this reality that, like a promise to pay, changes perception about future outcomes in the minds of people who allow themselves to be influenced by Optimism Propaganda.

So, selling Hope with a capital H commonly known as Hopium is probably the most powerful tool in the toolbox when it comes to controlling perception in the minds of the general public.

In recent times we've witnessed the perfection of these manipulative techniques to the point where even Normies are beginning to catch on that something is up.

It's the repetition you see.

The Elite Master Farmers may have a few tricks up their sleeves but what they lack is originality. Old shelved operations get dusted off and reused again and again. A lick of paint here, a spit and polish there, and hey presto! the same shit dished up for a new audience.

What may not have worked optimally last time for any number of unpredictable factors may work like a charm on the second or third attempt simply due to the learning process or because the planets are better aligned this time.

Look at how successful they've been in perfecting the viral pandemic ruse by simply riding on the coattails of seasonal symptoms combined with the incredibly effective fraudulent use of PCR testing.

From Spanish Flu until the present day we've been inundated with potential world-stopping pandemics that threaten to decimate our numbers and rewrite the world of healthcare and government overreach every single time.

Operation COVID was the most successful they've been so far.

And the closest we've come to the total roll out of permanent martial law in almost every country on Earth.

I still can't believe how close we came to that reality and how little it is covered in the news only a few years later.

So... where does the Hopium come in?

Well, in the game of Good Cop Bad Cop you first have to whack your victim over the head, slap them round a bit, or whatever gets your pulse racing and your victim peeing their pants a little.

Then Good Cop comes in, pulls up a chair, offers victim a cup of coffee, soothes them with some nice words, and offers a way out of the horrible situation, possibly a reprieve for squealing, maybe plastic surgery and a new life under the witness protection program.

There it is.

Hopium promises a new life that for some reason (any reason) will be better than the life you have now.

It's a little snippet of paradise packaged so that it's sufficiently out there in the future while tantalizingly within reach of the dreary here and now.

You can package almost anything in this way. As long as you sell it as outlined in the Hopium for Dummies Handbook you can successfully lead a substantial number of humans up the garden path to the woodshed every single time without fail.

The humans that don't fall for these silly magic tricks look on and wonder how it is possible that anyone can still be so gullible, so innocent. Some even try to reach out and warn and educate the others but it's all for naught. The sleepers continue to walk into the flames even as their clothes begin to catch fire and the polyester irreversibly melds with skin, sinew and bone.

The Classics

Religion, in its infancy, unleashed the art of promise making like nothing that had gone before. The promise of eternal life in heavenly paradise set the standard for everything that came after in the Hopium business.

The Catholic Church wins the prize for the title of Most Excellent Hopium Cartel with its reward and punishment, carrot and stick methodology forged in the Belly of the Beast over millennia. Again, Bad Cop screeching about burning in the fires of hell for all eternity pushes the victim into the welcoming arms of Good Cop promising rainbows and unicorns and the celestial harp greatest hits on a loop.

After the first and second world wars, the promise game took on a more grounded earthy feel with talk of world peace, the unity of nations, sharing through common markets, international tourism, liberal values for all, freedom of speech, women's rights and Telly Tubbies.

Everything was looking peachy until some bright spark at the Club of Rome said "People are getting too comfortable again. It's time to seed the world with a new type of fear that'll push them so hard they fall off the edge into the arms of the Totalitarian Technocratic Eugenicist Game Plan that our buddies over there at the University of Oxford and London School of Economics have been dreaming up in their spare time for the last hundred years."

So the boffins came up with Global Warming.

And it was all our fault.

Which is genius.

And decidedly better than previous Bad Cop set ups because the guilt factor is off the charts with this one.

Who doesn't want to think that they are saving the planet from absolute devastation because of our selfish, greedy lifestyles?

Well, it turns out quite a few people actually because, again, they weren't stupid or gullible enough to fall for the bullying rhetoric.

The thing is, many in the techno junkie camp, who admittedly fell for the bullshit wrapped in a Science sandwich just like everyone else, were distinctively swayed more than the average dupe because they couldn't wait to get their hands on the Green Swindle toys and trinkets with which they could virtue signal to the rest of the world to make up for their otherwise insurmountable beta male nerd status.

And so renewables and EVs became the new status badge to wear, a new religion for a new generation of twerps.

Rockets to Mars satisfied another side of this cult mindset by promising the optimists that life can and will continue through thick and thin if we just grease the palms of the technologists with enough coin.

A similar story is being spun around ridiculous plans for oversized smart cities in desert regions and unobtainable fusion energy projects that never seem to make the grade as commercially viable companies.

I'm not saying that none of these fanciful ideas will ever come to fruition. I'm saying that these ideas are used in military grade propaganda to keep the Hopium flowing through the veins of global markets so that the game of musical chairs keeps going for another year or two until a white swan materializes to 'save the day.'

How do we keep the plates spinning?

Before long, even the best conceived Hopium spells begin to lose effect. People's minds start to wander. Results don't materialize as quickly as promised. The House of Cards is about to be toppled by a hurricane of cow farts so the Elite Master Farmers must act quickly and decisively to prevent total disaster. An all new Hopium pill, long prepared and whispered about in the dark, dusty halls of academia, must be forced onto the public otherwise all will be lost.

Yes, forced, because the system can only persist in its present state if a majority of the general public believes in the transcendental values that prop up everything in the human world: money, hope, imagination, belief, promise, growth, betterment, and a decent future for those that come after.

Of course, oil plays a huge role in this game that we've set up too. And coal. And gas. But those are the tangible assets. And they can change and evolve over time through a better understanding of physics and our true potential as a species.

And that brings us to the latest Hopium pill.

Artificial Intelligence.

This is how we keep the plates spinning.

For now.

And this strain of Hopium comes with all the usual traits, positives and negatives, uplifting promises and devastatingly depressing pitfalls.

We've been over all of these scenarios a million times while reading the most prescient science fiction novels ever written and also when kicking back with the cheesiest B movies and video games.

Yet, very rarely do we see depicted a desirable future for all for that would require an unspoken agreement between all humans, all factions on what a desirable future even looks like. And we're nowhere near any kind of agreement like that in the present cultural environment.

For now the line appears to be drawn between the New American Empire and the BRICS+ Alliance of nations. Will these two main factions play nice or will they end up going to war? Who knows? Going to war is the worst possible outcome and doesn't fit the Hopium model so I'll continue to bet on some kind of cooperative interaction model going forward. A skirmish here and there is tolerable under this plan.

The fact that we, or more specifically, the Elite Master Farmers, the Decision Makers, need to invent fake narratives to lure and push the general public away from or towards goals of their own design and choosing, exposes the reality that we as a species don't yet really know what we actually want.

And if we don't know what we want or where we want to end up as a species, entities such as Larry Ellison's Oracle, Mark Zuckerberg's Meta, the entire Google / Alphabet nightmare, Jeff Bezos's Amazon, Bill Gates's Microsoft and GAVI, and the Anthony Faucis and Von der Leyens and Soroses and Musks and Tedroses and many more in the shadows will decide for us.

And it won't be pretty.

In fact, what they're drumming up looks downright ugly.

And not a future that most of us had in mind or think is worth living in or fighting for.

It's nothing.

It just looks like death warmed up.

The vision that Larry Ellison casually drops in his interviews is one pulled straight out of dystopian fiction as if it is some kind of legitimate blueprint for life. A world surveilled, controlled, injected, and molded by the likes of Larry Ellison is not what anyone I know signed up for. It's not what the human race signed up for. It's what these tyrants in suits and casual wear think will benefit their kind the most in the shape of even more wealth and power as if they didn't already have enough.

Maybe in their minds, the kind of Hopium that was sold to them, and that they now sell to us, really is capable of solving all of our problems. The AI programs, the data farms, the cancer prevention treatments, the 24/7 surveillance, the increasing power and overreach of government and all her agencies, the doubling down on any and all economic measures to keep the game going just a little longer. It's all for them and none of it for us.

I just want to wrap up by saying that Musk and Trump and the role that these figureheads are playing are producing some of the wildest results in the shortest amount of time since the inauguration. Even their most loyal subjects are authentically stunned by the rapidity of the Greatest Snapback in history and the swathes of Democrat devastation left in its wake.

Despite some obviously unacceptable components — the ballsy blase handling of the Israel / Palestine situation — everything else looks to be fulfilling the wishes of a disgusted population of relatively normal people who were sick and tired of being called Nazis, racists, fascists and every other slur coming from the far left simply because they chose to stand their ground against an onslaught of propaganda that was deliberately concocted to deliver even more control directly into the hands of the Elite Master Farmers so that they could execute their final blow.

And as predicted, there are plenty of people who are quite rightly pointing out that the current swing back towards sanity and common sense is laced with poison. The technocrats, the oligarchs, the Decision Makers are behind all the moves. They cover all bets, provide the villains and heroes, and evidently always walk away with the winnings.

What I will say for now is that we must learn to accept the downswings and revel in the upswings. If we don't enjoy the wins always thinking there's a trap behind every door or poison in every champagne trophy then we are doomed to never even try.

So lets fight back against the AI utopias and the self-driving, braindead 15 minute smart cities, and the CBDC infested transhuman mRNA future. That sounds like a plan. But at the same time we mustn't throw out the baby with the bathwater. At least not yet. Allow the agents of change, from whence they came, to work their magic.

And if or when they go off the rails, try to sneak in something really sneaky, that goes against our desire to simply live quality human lives then we'll pull the rug out from under their feet and do this again and again every time until they get the message that we're not putting up with the nonsense any more.

Beyond that, we need to set realistic goals that shape the world according to our most precious values. We need to kick the Hopium game to the curb. We need to get our act together, shape up, rise to our full potential. And that means digging deep to really know what we are about, where we came from and where we would like to end up.

We can't leave this to chance any more because we know what happens. The worst types of people take control and these people create the conditions that favor their materialistic enterprise over and over again until the system collapses and they move on to a new territory and a new host.

The Hopium rush being felt right now by all those who jumped on the Trump Train will be talked about for many years to come.

The rise of the right wing nationalists in Europe is taking shape and about ready to execute and explode.

A global rebalancing act is unfolding and shifting the sands of policy everywhere it reaches.

What we should obviously be prepared for is the potential nasty conflict and deliberately activated economic crash that will be unleashed by the sore losers (in the fake left/right paradigm of course) as part of a textbook scorched earth protocol that leaves nothing for anyone.

It's this response and the potential swing all the way back to global government central planning (if that's even possible anymore) that keeps my feet on the ground and my head free of too much hope, the disease commonly known as Hopium.
